I took this photo at Bo Sang umbrella village outside of Chiang Mai. The pattern of the stack of bamboo pieces really caught my eye. In fact there were a lot of interesting pattern to see out at the factory. Bo Sang has become very commerialised in recent years but the factory section still retains an attractive charm.

Shadows created on the curtains of my room by the afternoon sun... spectacular images of the khamoy (burglar) bars and the leaves of the papaya tree outside.

Yesterday I had dinner with friends in Mae Sai. Their house has the most wonderful views of the mountains round about the city. This is just one such view of the mountains across the border in Burma, and taken just as the sun was setting. . Beautiful!
